Admissions are done on annual basis and admisison are advertsied in the Month of August usually.
What is MBBS minimum elegiblity criteria for admission in Pakistan?
As per current PMDC MBBS Admission Policy 2019 , eligibility criteria for MBBS is 70% marks in FSc pre-medical or equivalent. No student will be entertained below this criteria.
If a student secures less than 50% marks in MDCAT but has greater than 70% marks in FSc or equivalent then he/she would be considered for merit?
No, because as per current admission policy of PMDC, a student should have secured 70% marks in FSc or equivalent and at least 60% marks in Entry Test then he/she will be considered for merit.
Can a student apply on the basis of previous year Medical Entry Test Result?
No, because it has clearly mentioned in the Current MBBS Admission Policy 2019 of PMDC that latest or fresh year Entry Test result will be considered for merit. However, foreign students having SAT, where applicable, their test will be applicable for two years for the date of passing that test.
Is there any Scholarship or Financial Assistance for MBBS student in private medical colleges in Pakistan?
It depends upon the private medical college if there is any Financial Assistance (FA) Policy for MBBS deserving students because only students with strong financial background move towards for Private MBBS. However, if any medical college will offer FA then amount of FA will be very less.
Is migration allowed in MBBS studies?
Yes, migration is allowed but after the completion of 2nd Prof. Exam and dissolved PMDC migration rules will be followed by respective Admitting University.
