MBBS Entry Test Result 2026 (MDCAT) + Professional Results

Check MBBS entry test (MDCAT) result 2026 by roll number for UHS, KMU, SZABMU, STS and BUMHS, plus UHS, KMU and KEMU MBBS professional results.

MBBS Entry Test Result 2026 (MDCAT): Check by Roll Number, Plus MBBS Professional Results

MDCAT 2026 was held on 20 September 2026 , and results are being released by each testing authority, not by one national list. UHS (Punjab) announced on 24 September, and KMU (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) has announced too. Check your result on the site of the university that conducted your test. You need 55% (99 of 180 marks) to be eligible for MBBS and 50% (90 of 180) for BDS, but qualifying does not guarantee a seat. For MBBS professional exam results (1st year to final year), use your own university's portal, listed below.

How to check your MDCAT result by roll number

  1. Open the official site of the authority that conducted your test (table above).

  2. Find the MDCAT 2026 result section.

  3. Enter your roll number, or your registration number if the portal asks for it.

  4. Save or print your result card. You may need it for the admission process.

By name: name search is not available on every portal. If yours doesn't offer it, use your roll number, which is on your admit card. Never pay to see a result and never give your CNIC to a site that isn't the official one.

What your MDCAT score means

MDCAT 2026 is a 180-question paper with no negative marking. The minimum is 55% for MBBS, or 99 marks, and 50% for BDS, or 90 marks.

The published numbers show how far qualifying is from admission:

  • Punjab (UHS): 47,475 candidates appeared, 37,708 met the MBBS threshold (79.43%), and 40,457 met the BDS threshold (85.22%). Only 1,772 candidates scored between 170 and 180.

  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KMU): 37,747 candidates appeared, KMU reported a 66% success rate, and the topper scored a perfect 180. The Punjab and KP percentages use different bases, so don't compare them directly.

Admission depends on your merit aggregate, quota, and seat availability . Meeting the threshold only makes you eligible to apply.

Answer keys and paper codes

Your estimated score is only as good as the key you use. Use the key from your conducting university and your exact paper code . UHS publishes keys for codes A to D, and SZABMU uses codes 1 to 4. Punjab, KP and the Islamabad/AJK/GB group do not necessarily use the same key. SZABMU reviewed concerns across all four codes and corrected its keys, so recalculate using its updated version. If your official result differs from your estimate, check your paper code first, then look for your university's retotalling or objection process.

Look for the exam name exactly as your date sheet gives it. "1st Professional", "4th Professional" and "Final Professional" are different notices, and annual and supplementary results are published separately.

A labelling trap. Results are often labelled with the exam session , not the year they're announced. For example, KEMU's Final Professional Annual Examination 2025 result notification is dated 18 April 2026. So a "2025" exam result can appear in 2026. When you search "MBBS result 2026", check which exam session the notice refers to.

Beware of fake result sites

Many unofficial pages promise instant results or ask for payment. Use only your university's own site, never pay to see a result, and don't share your CNIC on unknown pages. Old names still circulate: "PMC result" and "PMDC result" mean the same MDCAT result, published by your testing university.
