Duration of BS Chemistry

  • BS Chemistry duration is 4 years with 8 semester. Each year consist of 2 semester. To get the BS Chemistry degree students have to complete 4 years.

Scope of Chemistry

Students who are undertaking the bachelor of chemistry degree program have very promising career ahead of them as the scope of chemistry subject is very good. Students can apply for various positions such as scientists, environmental engineers, researchers, biochemical engineer, nuclear scientists, chemical lab assistants, professional chemists among others.

The scope of chemistry in research cannot denied as it is living science. Scientists have to face various challenges everyday like developing and making new inorganic and organic materials, creation of new drugs, new procedures for making and understanding chemical structure, creating new ways for sustainable energy among others. All of these programs depend on the development and understanding of chemistry science so its very important that we invest and develop chemists for more scientific progress.

Research Sectors for BS Chemistry Graduates

Graduates in chemistry can choose a sector of Research, it could be of any of the following

  • Theoretical Research
  • Pure Research
  • Applied Research
  • Comparative Research
  • Exploratory Research
  • Descriptive Research
  • Explanatory Research
  • Qualitative Research
  • Quantitative Research
  • Experimental Research

Including these fields in chemical, healthcare, and more. The career of research is vaster than the first initiated, as there are more different reasons are available in every possible environment for research conduction. As we are talking about the scope of chemistry, it is important in the food supply, to Improve Health & Sanitation, Saving the Environment to enhance the Comfort, Pleasure, and Luxuries, also important in the War.
