Following is the NUMS aggregate calculation method:
- For example, you got 180 marks in MDCAT, then
180÷210 x100= 85.7 %
50% of MDCAT marks = 85.7x50÷100= 42.86%
- You got 1027 marks FSC and taken exams of elective subjects i.e biology, mathematics/physics and chemistry. So, marks of compulsory subjects will be based relative to elective subjects. Then,
1027÷1100 x100= 93.4 %
25% of FSC marks = 93.4x25÷100= 23.34%
- You got 190 marks in NUMS Test, then
190÷200 x100= 95 %
25% of NUMS test marks = 95x25÷100= 23.75%
- Then Aggregate= 42.86%+23.34%+ 23.75%= 89.95%
According to HEC, for MBBS and BDS admission, the general merit formula is following:
