NUMS Aggregate Formula 2024

NUMS stands for National University of Medical Sciences. NUMS entry test aggregate formula 2024 is provided on this page. According to Pakistan Medical Commission, the students must have to pass MDCAT with minimum 55% for Medical and 45% for BDS. The students who fail in MDCAT conducted by PMC cannot take admission in NUMS.  NUMS conducts an entry test for admission in MBBS and BDS every year.  This test was conducted by NUMS on 03rd September 2024.

How To Calcuate NUMS Aggregate Formula

Step 1: Calcuate the Percentage of NUMS, Inter and Matric Numbers

For Example you scored:

1. 140/150 in NUMS Entry Test 2024
2. 1060/1100 in Intermediate/FSc
3. 1080/1100 in Matriculation

In Percentage, it will be

1. NUMS MDCAT (140/150) x 100 = 93.33%
2. Intermediate (1060/1100) x 100 =  96.36%
3. Matriculation (1080/1100) x 100 =  98.18%

Step 2: Proportionate your percentages to the Merit

• NUMS MDCAT Score Proporionate = 50%

93.33 x 50 / 100 = 46.65

• Inter Score Proporionate = 40%

96.36 x 40 / 100 = 38.54

• Matric Score Proporionate = 10%

98.18 x 10 / 100 = 9.82

Step 3: Sun Proporinate

46.65 + 38.54 + 9.82=
Your NUMS MDCAT Merit = 95.01

NUMS Aggregate Formula 2024 for AMC

Army Medical College and Dental College has two categories of students.

NUMS Cadets

Their selection criteria is decided strictly according to PMC rules. 50 % weightage for MDCAT score and 50 % distributed to FSc and NUMS entry test score.

Military Cadets

The selection criteria for this category includes MDCAT examination, a special test conducted by Army recruitment centers, a thorough medical examination, physical efficiency test (1 mile run, pullups, pushups, crunches and ditch crossing), intelligence test, psychological test and an interview. Final merit is declared by GHQ.

NUMS Entry Test Aggregate Percentage 2024

The students who want to get admission in Army Medical or Dental colleges have to pass this test. Many students dream to be doctors and they work hard for this. The students have to get maximum marks in F.Sc. NUMS entry test and MDCAT conducted by PMC. For calculating the NUMS aggregate criteria, Pakistan Medical Commission made a formula. Following is the aggregate formula for NUMS admission 2022 in MBBS/BDS:

MDCAT= 50%

FSc Pre-medical or HSSC equivalent qualification= 50% 

This test consists of four portions, i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English. The total marks of NUMS entry test are 150 (1 mark for each MCQ).There is no negative marking. The marks distribution of NUMS Test 2024 is given below:

• 55 MCQS of Biology= 35%
• 40 MCQS for Chemistry=25%
• 40 MCQs of Physics= 25%
• 15 MCQS of English= 10%

NUMS Aggregate Calculator 2024

NUMS entry test is mandatory for getting admission in MBBS or BDS in NUMS affiliated colleges. The students can easily calculate their aggregate by the NUMS entry test aggregate formula.
