Applicants must align their research with the regions and methodologies of Professor von Fürer-Haimendorf, focusing on the cultures and societies of South and South East Asia and employing digital ethnographic documentation methods.
Selected recipients of the Fürer Haimendorf Fund will receive financial support to cover the expenses related to their fieldwork or travel, enabling them to advance their doctoral research in anthropology at SOAS.
