1.How many numbers of seats are available in FMDC? 

Initially, the college had only 50 seats for the degree of MBBS. Now after the completion of PMDC rules and regulations the seats have been increased up to 100. The students all over Pakistan can get admission to the Federal Medical and Dental College. The seats are reserved for all the provinces of Pakistan by the quota approved by the government. 

2. What is the eligibility criteria of the FMDC test?

1. The students having the domicile of all the provinces can appear in the FMDC test
2. The students must have done the intermediate in science subjects (Pre-Medical)
3. The students should have at least 70% marks in their intermediate exams.

3. What is the criterion for admission in FMDC?

The admission in the FMDC is purely merit-based and the admission aggregate is calculated as follows

1. 50% marks of the HSSC Pre-medical or the equivalent exam
2. 50% marks of the FMDC test.

4. What is the test pattern of FMDC?

The FMDC entry test consists of multiple-choice questions. 200 questions are asked in the exam and each question carries one mark. The test pattern of FMDC is stated below.

Before the test, the registration date is announced so that students that are going to appear in the FMDC test can register themselves. The registration can be done on the official website of SZABMU. 9. Is FMDC recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council?

Federal Medical and Dental College is recognized by the PMDC and Ministry of National Health Services Regulation and Coordination. Moreover, it has also two attached teaching hospitals that are the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences and Federal General Hospital.

10. Is there a BDS admission carried out in FMDC?

Each year 100 students get admission to the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery as per PMDC rules. FMDC is affiliated with the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University and the college has not initiated the BDS degree.
