Syllabus for BA:

Bachelors of Arts (BA) cover the in two academic year program such as 2 years as well as 4 years study program. Every University have its own way to covering BA program. Some universities conducts BA exams after 6 months. In these universities BA (bachelors of Arts programs) comprise of 4 semesters. Some universities conduct the annual exams after two years such as Bahauddin Bahauddin Zakariya University(BZU Multan), University of Sargodha, Islamia University of Bahawalpur and University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir whereas some universities including PU, UOK and UOP change their exams policy and as per this policy BA exams from now will conduct in two parts.

Marks and Subjects division of BA part 1 exams is as follows:

  • English compulsory (100 marks)
  • Islamic education (compulsory) Ethics (for non-Muslim students)/ Pak Studies (100 marks)
  • Elective-1 (Paper I) (100 marks)
  • Elective-2 (Paper I) (100 marks)

Punjab University offers the BA comprises of two of year. All universities conduct the BA annual exams at the end of two years. Students have to choose the two Elective Subjects and one Optional Subject. Students can select the subjects that compile their interest.
