For the SBW Berlin scholarship for refugees: Ideally, these projects are part of the non-profit work of organisations that help other refugees from their home countries. The social project can also be part of SBW Berlin’s work.

Number of Scholarships
The SBW Berlin has a total of 20 scholarship places. However, it should be noted that each semester only as many scholarships can be awarded as there are open places.
Eligibility for the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Scholarships:
Applicants for FES Scholarship Program must be from public/state-approved universities and polytechnical colleges (FH).
Candidates must be planning to or are pursuing postgraduate programs in any area or discipline.
FES Scholarship Program doesn't support Postgraduate courses in medicine, Second-degree courses, Final phases of academic studies, and Study Vis outside Germany.
The FES also supports foreign applicants who are already studying, or doing their postgraduate studies, in Germany at the time of application.
Eligibility for the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Study Grants:
Applicants must have a university degree, the university does not provide support for bachelor studies and prove above average academic performance.
Candidates should have good knowledge of the German language (B2-level) and be actively engaged in voluntary work.
Students must plan to study a minimum of four semesters at a university in Germany and possess a broad general education and a distinct interest in political issues.
Candidates should have a positive attitude toward democracy and human rights and be open to developing their personal points of view and practice tolerance.
