PMS (Provincial Management Services ) and PCS (Punjab Civil Services) exams are conducted by Provincial Public Service Commission of every province of Pakistan to fill the vacant seats on the posts Provincial Management Service. There is no specific date for these exams. Provinces held these examinations whenever the posts are available. Exams always held per vacancies.
In Punjab these exams are conducted under Punjab Public Service Commission. The PMS exams held for the allocation on the different departments of provincial government. The PMS exams do not conducted on regular basis but it is announced when there are vacancies.
In the Punjab the Punjab Public Service Commission holds these exams. There are six compulsory subjects and all candidates shall have to take these compulsory subjects of 600 marks and candidates have to select three optional subjects of total 600 marks. The syllabus includes optional and compulsory subjects. All candidates shall have to appear for compulsory subjects and three optional subjects carrying 200 marks for one group of optional subjects.
Both male and female candidates between the ages from 21 to 28 years can apply for the posts and qualification requires graduation from any recognized University. Candidates must score 33% marks in each paper and 50% in interview.
