The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, BISE Kohat Board, ever year holds the matric and inter exams in the month of March and May respectively. The date sheet for the respective exams is generally announced one month earlier. For the annual exams 2021 the Matric part 1 and part 2 exams are scheduled to be started from May while the intermediate annual exams will start from June. The date sheet of matric and intermediate annual exams will be announced in April and May respectively. BISE Kohat got the status of independent board in 2002 and its founder chairman was Brig (Retd) Talat Imtiaz Naqvi. The board has the authority to begin the exams according to the set schedule. there are many areas affiliated with the board including district Kohat, Karak & Hangu, and Agencies Kurram & Aurakzai. To organize all the exams in a fair and crystal clear way is the main responsibility of the board and appoint the supervisory staff at examination centers and make sure that exams will be held in an unbiased environment. Students from affiliated areas appear in the annual and supply exams of the board.
