Acceptable Course or Subjects:
The scholarship will be awarded for a PhD degree in any subject offered by the university
Applicants who self-identify as Black (of African descent; for example, Africans and African heritage people from the Caribbean, Americas, and Europe).
Applicant completion of a PhD or PhD equivalent within the last three years before the application deadline, or PhD expected by the planned start date of the fellowship.
They can hold the fellowship for two years by September 5, 2023.
Successful applicants must be eligible to work in Canada by the start of the Postdoctoral position. The exceptional start dates may be negotiated about the permit and visa process timelines.
