There is no verified official ranking behind a “best” label, so compare on things you can check:

1. HEC recognition. Confirm the university and the program on HEC’s website before applying.

2. Published scheme of studies. A real program shows its course list and credit hours.

4. Hospital access. Ask where clinical training happens.

5. Total cost, not first-semester fee. Ask for the full fee schedule. One private university’s page shows 6,600 per credit hour, or 118,800 for an 18-credit first semester (Fall 2025), so costs can climb fast. uchenab

6. Intake timing. Some universities admit in spring as well as fall.

What the degree involves

Core courses commonly include fundamentals of nutrition, macronutrients, micronutrients, dietetics, nutritional assessment, life-cycle nutrition and food safety. One university’s scheme also lists clinical-care nutrition and food service management. Later semesters usually add research methods and an internship or project.
