Admission Process for Bachelors of Homeopathic and Medicine Surgery
The admission of BHMS is basically executed through the entrance exam, mostly in the top-ranking public universities. Students need to attempt for admission and qualify for this degree program, which is managed through the national and state level. Students will be selected on merit basis (marks scored in the entry test). Final selection of the students through group discussion along with an interview of the student. Also during shortlisting, the skills and capabilities of candidates will be judged and examined. After the procedure, students are allowed to go with the document verification phase and counseling session.

Eligibility Criteria Of BHMS
Intermediate with (Pre-Medical group) is compulsory to get admission in BHMS (Classified). However, the merit of BHMS is not as high as it is of MBBS,BDS and other medical fields of allopathy in Pakistan. After completing DHMS, the homeopathic doctors can get admission in the BHMS (Graded) degree program as well.
To get admission in BHMS eligibility requirements are as follows:
- The student should be 17 years old.
- The students should have achieved an aggregate of 50% in matric and intermediate with science subjects as Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as a major subjects.
- The students should have scored the minimum 50% marks in the entry test.
Admission Intakes And Entry Test Of BHMS
Admission starts in January and February in most public medical institutes. Admission in BHMS is based on entrance exams, and candidates will select on merit basis (marks get in entrance exams).
The selection of students for Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery course is through an entrance exam. Students who are able to clear the cut off marks in the entry test supervised by Central Government or State Government can await an admission in any of the public and private homeopathic Colleges.
Merit Formula Of BHMS
The merit of BHMS in government universities starts from 85% and ends at 74%.merit of universities vary each year.
The merit of most public universities is calculated as:
- Matric Marks: 10%
- Intermediate Marks: 40%
- Entry test Marks: 50%
