The National College of Arts contains three of the oldest and well-established departments (fine arts, design and architecture) which disseminate high standards of art education equivalent to international standards of higher education. NCA has a glorious history, as the institute is offering educational programs from the past 140 years. More than 1000 students are privileged to enroll in this prestigious institution where highly qualified faculty can brighten up the future of these students. The University is authorized to conduct student exchange programs with foreign universities of fine arts and design. National College of Arts holds UNESCO chair in architecture.

The main campus of National College of Arts is conveniently located at the historical Mall Road, Lahore. The prime location of the institute makes it easily approachable and accessible. The NCA expanded and further developed itself in order to cater a larger number of students. A sub-campus was constructed at Liaquat Road in Rawalpindi to provide learning opportunities to the students from twin cities.
