The Life Insurance business in Pakistan was officially started in 1972. Beema Units named “A”, “B” and “C” Beema Units were the very fisrt insurance comapanies merged into one unit. It was in November 1, 1972, when the management of Life Insurance Business was given under rules and regulations of State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan. The State Life Insurance is consisted of Seven Regional Offices, Thirty Three Zonal Offices, a few Sub-Zonal Offices, 190 Sector Offices, and a network of 1102 Area Offices across the country for Individual Life Insurance; Four Zonal Offices and 6 Sector Offices with 20 Sector Heads for Group & Pension are involved in the Marketing of Life Insurance Plans policies and products offered by State Life and a Principal Office. State life insurance function for life insurance business, services to policy holders, increasing investments for policy holders, to widen its operations, mobilization of savings of policy holders and also using the funds of policy holders for utilization of community in general. State Life Insurance tries its best to ensure quality services. Its mission is to maintain its position of number one insurance company of Pakistan and also ensure the trust of its policy holders is kept. It has offices all over Pakistan such as ; Dera Ismail Khan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Larkana, Mirpurkhas, Multan, Peshawar, RawalPindi and Sukkur. State Life Insurance offers almost 15 types of different policies. Its wide network is working very hard and efficiently.
