SLIC invites dynamic and results-oriented professionals to apply for the following contractual positions based at its Principal Office in Karachi. The initial contract period is three (03) years, extendable based on satisfactory performance.


🔹 1. Assistant General Manager (AGM)

  • No. of Positions: 01

  • Maximum Age Limit: 45 years

  • Required Qualification:

    • Minimum 18 years of education (MBA/M.Com/MPA/LLB or equivalent) from a HEC-recognized university

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 4–5 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field

  • Preferred Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong understanding of corporate governance and legal frameworks

    • Competence in decision-making, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and presentation skills

    • Excellent IT knowledge, verbal and written communication

    • Chartered Secretary certification will be preferred


🔹 2. Manager (Corporate Affairs)

  • No. of Positions: 01

  • Maximum Age Limit: 45 years

  • Required Qualification:

    • Minimum 16 years of education (BS/BBA/LLB or equivalent) from a HEC-recognized university

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 3–4 years of post-qualification experience in the corporate governance/secretarial/legal role

  • Preferred Skills & Competencies:

    • Proficient in MS Office Suite

    • Strong communication and reporting skills

    • Chartered Secretary certification will be preferred


🔹 3. Assistant Manager (Corporate Affairs)

  • No. of Positions: 01

  • Maximum Age Limit: 45 years

  • Required Qualification:

    • Minimum 16 years of education (BS/BBA/LLB or equivalent) from a HEC-recognized university

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in the secretarial/legal field

  • Preferred Skills & Competencies:

    • Proficient in MS Office Suite

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills


✅ General Instructions

  • Candidates must possess domicile of the relevant province.

  • Postings may be made anywhere in Pakistan.

📋 Job Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of board agendas, board papers, and minutes

  • Ensure compliance with internal, external, and regulatory requirements

  • Support the Divisional Head in developing and updating corporate policies

  • Ensure smooth execution of Board and Committee Meetings

  • Draft/vet legal and policy documents

  • Monitor and implement SECP filing requirements

  • Maintain communication with regulatory bodies (e.g., SECP, SBP)

  • Ensure accurate record keeping for the Corporate Secretarial Department

  • Identify and mitigate legal risks

  • Liaise with government offices, legal firms, and other authorities
