University of Rawalpindi (UOR) BSCS Admission 2025
The University of Rawalpindi also admits in its BSCS course in Fall 2025 under the Department of Computing and Intelligent Systems. The course lasts four years with eight semesters and is based on computer programming, software development, artificial intelligence, and database management. UOR has a reputation of contemporary computer laboratories and industry-based pedagogy that enables it to educate its students to create high-quality technical and analytical skills to suit the increasing IT needs not only of Pakistan but also of the outside world.
In order to seek BSCS program at UOR, the candidates should have Intermediate (HSSC) or an equivalent qualification with Mathematics and a minimum of 50% marks in a recognized board. Those students who lack Mathematics in their prior studies must take a deficiency course in the first semester. Applicants should also have a diploma in any of the relevant fields, like computer technology, in PBTE or any other institute.
Admission selection is purely merit based. The merit is determined by using the marks that a candidate achieves in Intermediate or any other exams. The university might in other instances do an aptitude or interview test to identify the potential of the students. The ultimate lists of admissions are shown according to merit ranking and availability.
Fatima Jinnah Women University Rawalpindi is offering admission in BSCS 2025 in regular and self-support programs. It is a four-year degree program that gives the female students a good platform to pursue professional career in Computer Science, specializing in software design, computer architecture, and computational logic.
Women applicants should obtain an Intermediate (F.Sc, ICS, or equivalent) degree with Mathematics of at least 60% marks. Both fresh and continuing students are welcome, with the results awaiting students having a provisional opportunity at admission. A final selection may demand the NAT-I or university-based entrance test on some of the departments.
There is a granting of admissions based on merit. An ultimate merit list is drawn depending on academic merit, test (where applicable) and available vacancies. FJWU has clear merit policies and puts all lists on the Internet so that students can have access to them.
Admissions in BSCS at Fall 2025 are being offered at Barani Institute of Information Technology, a university that is affiliated with PMAS-Arid Agriculture University. The program focuses on programming, data structure and advanced computing to equip the students with careers in software and IT industries.
The applicants should have successfully passed Intermediate (F.Sc, ICS, or equivalent) with Mathematics with a minimum score of 50% marks. Mathematics may be a mandatory requirement course to students who have studied other subjects. A-level or international qualification holders are required to have equivalence certificates.
The admissions are based on merit based on the marks that are gained in the Intermediate or equivalent examination. BIIT can also conduct interviews in order to measure the aptitude of the students. In the process of awarding scholarships, the most outstanding applicants are granted the scholarship basing on their position in merit.
PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, via its University Institute of Information Technology (UIIT) opens admission in BSCS for Fall 2025. It is a program of computer science mixed with practical IT training, allowing students to work in software engineering, data science, and cybersecurity.
