Barani Institute of Information Technology

Barani Institute of Information Technology (BIIT) was established at University of Arid Agriculture after a long and deliberate consideration of the growing needs of software development and the initiative launched by Government of Pakistan. The institute was established as a partnership venture between the University of Arid Agriculture (UAAR) and M/S Resource Organizers and Software Engineers (ROSE) International. The institute operates on self-financed scheme, and is initially concentrating on undergraduate and graduate academic programs.

Industry-Relevant Training

At BIIT, emphasis is placed on providing students with industry-relevant training and practical experience. The institute collaborates closely with leading IT companies and organizations to offer internship programs, industry projects, and guest lectures by industry experts. These initiatives allow students to gain valuable real-world experience, build professional networks, and develop the practical skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the workplace. Additionally, BIIT encourages students to participate in hackathons, competitions, and research projects to further enhance their skills and showcase their talents to potential employers.
