Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi Admissions

Prescribed Applications forms for different degree programs should be completed and submitted to the respective faculty for evaluation. The form must be submitted in person or sent on the postal address of the university by mail.

Admission Policies:

The admission form sent via post must reach the university before the due date as no forms shall be accepted after the due date.
The application must be completed and required documents must be attached to prevent rejection.
All supportive documents, certificates and degrees must be attested.
Candidate who have previously achieved a degree or certification from ARID University, must mention their student ID (roll-number).
Some courses and degree require a pre-requisite. No student shall be allowed to register for that particular degree till a proof of fulfillment of pre-requisites is provided. Students who did their Pre-requisites from other universities must submit a Migration Certificate.
The number of seats available in each degree program differs. And is decided by the Academic Council.
To gain admissions in the degree programs offered by Barani Institute of Information Technology (BIIT) and University Institute of Education and Research (UIER) the prescribed admission form must be submitted to the respective Institutes.

Procedure of Admission:

State clearly the category in which admission is sought.
For reserved seats such as Azad Kashmir and Northern areas, aspirants are advised to apply their admission through Kashmir Affair Division, Government of Pakistan Islamabad.
Similarly candidates applying for reserved seats of NWFP, Sindh and Baluchistan must apply through their respective Provincial Government of Agriculture.
It is the strict requirement of ARID, that all interested students should sign an undertaking on judicial stamp paper (Rs.10).This document must be countersigned by the parents and an Oath Commissioner who will provide the guarantee that the student will adhere to the rules and regulations of the University.
The roster of selected candidates shall be put up the notice board.
Candidates who get selected, should submit the fee, complete all formalities and meet all requirements of the admission. The selected candidate must enroll within the given time duration or else his admission shall be cancelled and offered to the candidates on the waiting list.
