The Central Superior Services exam is considered one of the most difficult and prestigious exams conducted by the Federal Public Service Commission every year. After qualifying for the written exam, medical exam psychological exam, and viva voce the candidates can become the 17th Grade Civil Bureaucrat in allocated groups. There are many departments in which the candidates can get allocated such as Pakistan Administrative Service, Foreign Service of Pakistan, Pakistan Customs Service, Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service, Railway Group, Commerce and Trade Group, Military Lands and Cantonments Group, Police Service of Pakistan, Postal Group, Office Management Group, Inland Revenue Service and Information Group. The registration of CSS exam opens in the month of October and the FPSC holds the exam in the month of February. There are a number of compulsory and elective subjects that the candidates are required to pass in order to ace the exam.
