Courses in Degree of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program are as hard as in MBBS. Veterinarians are especially trained personnel who take care of any animal species and can further focus on a particular large or small animal.

Course Content:

Course Duration:

D.V.M (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) is a 5-year composite degree program accredited by Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC) Govt. of Pakistan.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Medical Entrance Test (MDCAT) or institutional specific entrance exam with minimum 65% marks
  2. At least 60% marks in F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) with biology as major or an equivalent examination from recognized institution / Board.
  3. For A-level pass out physics, chemistry, biology with minimum 50% marks. An equivalency certificate from Issb is a must.
  4. Age limit: Age under 25 can apply for the course.

Fee Structure:

Fee structure varies with institution and also based upon 4-year or 5-year degree program. It ranges between PRs.40 thousand to 50 thousand. Some private institutes have set a bit high range for the fee. You can check their official website to get the latest update.
