Career Opportunities – Procurement Professionals

Contract Details

  • Duration: 3 years (contract basis)
  • Extension: Based on satisfactory performance

Job Purpose

To manage procurement operations efficiently by ensuring the timely acquisition of goods, services, and commodities at optimal value while maintaining compliance with PPRA rules and organizational policies. The role also supports alignment of procurement activities with organizational goals.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Assistant General Manager (CPD)

  • Minimum 18 years of education
    • Preferably MBA (Supply Chain Management) or equivalent
    • OR ACMA / ACCA or equivalent qualification
  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years post-qualification experience in procurement
    • OR 3 years (for ACMA/ACCA candidates)
  • Degree must be from an HEC-recognized university
  • Strong command of:
    • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

2. Deputy Manager (CPD)

  • Minimum 16 years of education
    • Preferably BBA or equivalent
    • OR ACMA / ACCA
  • Experience:
    • At least 3 years (BBA or equivalent)
    • OR 1–2 years (ACMA/ACCA)
  • Degree must be from an HEC-recognized university
  • Proficiency in:
    • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

3. Assistant Manager (CPD)

  • Minimum 16 years of education in Business Administration or relevant field
  • Experience:
    • 1–2 years in procurement
  • Degree from HEC-recognized university
  • Required skills:
    • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Procurement Operations

  • Implementation of PPRA Rules and E-PADS system
  • Preparation, processing, and evaluation of tender documents (including e-procurement)
  • Procurement of capital and revenue items

Vendor Management

  • Vendor evaluation, monitoring, and performance assessment
  • Pre-qualification and maintenance of vendor databases

Contracts & Compliance

  • Drafting and reviewing contracts
  • Managing framework agreements
  • Handling blacklisting and departmental cases as per PPRA rules
  • Ensuring transparency, fairness, and accountability in procurement

Coordination & Reporting

  • Official correspondence with PPRA authorities
  • Conducting procurement risk assessments
  • Maintaining proper documentation and records

Operational Support

  • Processing purchase orders within financial limits
  • Managing centralized procurement (e.g., printing & stationery)
  • Supervising regional and zonal procurement activities
  • Consolidating budget proposals
