MDCAT is a competitive test that is mandatory to get admission in the public and private sector medical colleges. Each year thousands of candidates appear in the medical entrance exam but only 3000 managed to clear the test. Here we have listed everything you need to know about MDCAT 2020 by UHS.

1. MDCAT 2020 Introduction

MDCAT stands for Medical and Dental College Admission Test conducted by the University of Health Sciences every year. The test provides the opportunity for the students to secure the seat in the MBBS degree programs and BDS degree programs. The MDCAT is valid for one year only. The candidates that have done the FSC medical or equivalent degree are eligible to apply for MDCAT.

2. MDCAT Syllabus 2020

Students are recommended to prepare according to the prescribed MDCAT Syllabus 2020. It consists of four subjects such as Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English. The syllabus is based on the textbooks you have already studied in the intermediate examination. University of Health Sciences strictly follows the MDCAT syllabus while devising the test so students must prepare accordingly.

3. MDCAT 2020 Test Date

The University of Health Sciences has not yet declared the MDCAT 2020 Test Date. The students preparing for the MDCAT are informed that due to the coronavirus the date has not been announced. It will be rescheduled soon by the authorities and students will be notified. 4. MDCAT Application Process

For the MDCAT application process, there are some steps that should be followed by the applicants.
  • The candidate can apply online by using the computer or desktop to complete the registration process.
  • The instructions and details will be provided to the candidates so that they can fill out the application form easily.
  • A colored photograph of 2MB (or less) should be uploaded which must be not old than 2 months.
  • While filling the form, repeatedly go through the MDCAT registration form by pressing the preview button because once the application will be submitted the candidate cannot be able to edit the application.
  • Submit the application by pressing the submit button.
  • After submission, a unique application serial number will be assigned to the candidates. Make sure to note down the number and take the print of the application.
  • Submit the printed form along with the registration fee (Rs.1300/-) at any branch of Punjab Bank.
  • Within 72 hours after the form and fee submission, the candidate will receive the admittance card containing the information about the roll number and test center through SMS and E-mail.

5. MDCAT 2020 Preparation

6. MDCAT Paper Pattern

MDCAT is one test paper containing 200 multiple-choice questions. Each question will carry one mark. There will be no negative marking in the test.
