Check Kohat Board Matric Result by Name

Students sometimes search for their results by name. However, the official result service may require a roll number, and a name-search option is not guaranteed to be available on every portal.

If you do not have your roll number, check your examination roll number slip or contact your school. You can also consult the relevant gazette if it has been published and includes searchable candidate records.

Check the Result Through the Gazette

A result gazette contains examination records that can help students, teachers, and schools find results in one document. For the Kohat Board 2026 results, use the relevant class-specific page:

• 9th Class: Kohat Board 9th Class Result Gazette 2026

• 10th Class: Kohat Board 10th Class Result 2026

Open the page and use its available gazette viewing or download link. If the PDF opens on your computer, press Ctrl + F and enter your roll number to search the document. On a mobile phone, use the PDF viewer's search feature if available.

Is the Kohat Board Matric Result Available by SMS?

Students often look for an SMS service when the online result portal is slow. However, an SMS code should only be used after it has been confirmed by BISE Kohat for the relevant examination session. An unverified code may not return the correct result or may no longer be active.

Check the board's official website for current instructions. If no verified SMS method is listed, use the online result portal or contact your school.

What to Do After Checking Your Matric Result

After viewing your result, check that your name, roll number, subject marks, and result status are correct. Save a copy of the online result for your records, but follow the board's instructions for obtaining an official Detailed Marks Certificate (DMC).

If you are satisfied with your result, start exploring the next stage of your education. Students may consider FSc Pre-Medical, FSc Pre-Engineering, ICS, ICom, FA, or a relevant technical and vocational programme, depending on their marks, interests, and admission requirements.

If you believe that a mark has been recorded incorrectly, consult your school and the board's latest notification about re-totaling, rechecking, or examination-paper review. Follow the official deadline and fee instructions before submitting an application.
