After inauguration of Multan Board in 1968 areas under its control were Bahawalpur, Kallat, Quetta Dera Ghazi Khan and Multan. Now Bahawalpur, Quetta, Dera Ghazi Khan are also independent board. Multan board is accountable to develop, manage, regulate, organize and control the secondary and higher secondary exams, Pakistani and traditional languages and other exams defined by the board. The board also awards diplomas, scholarships, medals and prizes to successful students. At present Multan board has command over Multan, Lodhran Vehari, Khanewal regions. The board every year awards degrees to thousands of secondary and higher secondary students. This year the degrees will also be awarded to students after the announcement of Multan Board Matric Result 2019. The board also organizes a ceremony one day before the announcement of detailed result and awards the toppers with various distinguish prizes.
