Hyderabad Board Matric Result 2026: What Happened

“Matric”, “10th class” and “SSC Part II” all mean the same exam here. BISE Hyderabad conducts it for nine districts: Hyderabad, Matiari, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Badin, Sujawal, Thatta, Dadu and Jamshoro.

The 2026 results arrived late. Controller of Examinations Professor Shakeel Laghari released the Science and General Group results on the night of Thursday, 13 August, via social media. Gazettes carry the same date.

How to Check Your Result

1. Keep your roll number slip in front of you.
2. Open the result section on biseh.edu.pk and select SSC Part II, Annual 2026.
3. Enter your roll number and submit.
4. Save or print the page. Treat it as provisional until you hold the original marks certificate.

2026 Results (Science Group)

Why two pass rates? The 92.32% figure circulating online divides passes by registrations. Candidates who registered but didn’t sit the exam inflate the denominator. Against students who actually appeared, the rate is a little higher. For comparison, in 2024 the board passed 67,271 of 71,778 candidates, or roughly 93.7%, so the 2026 pass rate is about the same.

Of 1,570 General Group forms, 1,488 candidates appeared: 3 got A1, 332 A, 808 B, 227 C and 18 D.

Girls again did better than boys overall, and two of the three General Group podium places went to one Latifabad girls’ school.

What to Do After You Get Your Marks

Compare your marks with the gazette entry. If the two don’t match, or a subject looks wrong, contact your school and the board promptly.
