LAT Admission Test Registration 2025
The Online LAT Test Registration 2025 gives students the opportunity to serve the nation by entering the legal field and contributing to society. Those aspiring to pursue careers in law—such as becoming an advocate, civil judge, or joining law associations—must understand the online registration process for LAT to succeed.
The purpose of the LAT examination is to assess candidates in Essay Writing, English, Urdu, Islamic Studies, General Knowledge, and Mathematics. Candidates are also required to submit a personal statement explaining why they wish to join the legal profession.
HEC LAT Test Registration 2025 in Pakistan
Have you appeared in the Intermediate Annual Examination and are seeking admission to an LLB program? Here is good news: the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad has announced the LAT Test Registration 2025.
Required Qualification:
Intermediate degree in FA/FSc/I.Com or equivalent from a recognized board.
Result awaiting candidates of Intermediate can also apply for LAT 2025.
Important Dates:
- Last date to apply: August 5th, 2025 (Tuesday)
- Test date: August 24th, 2025 (Sunday)
All applicants must apply online through www.etc.hec.gov.pk before the closing date. HEC has clearly mentioned that no extension will be given, and the portal will close after August 5th, 2025.
LAT Online Registration 2025
No student will be granted admission to any recognized law college without passing the LAT test. Therefore, candidates must register through the official HEC website etc.hec.gov.pk. Only those who have created an account, completed their profile, and submitted the application will be allowed to sit in the LAT exam.
Purpose of LAT Online Registration
Students aiming for admission in the 5-year LLB program must understand the importance of timely registration. Missing the registration deadline means losing the chance to appear in the test. Candidates should apply as soon as the registration opens and start their preparation immediately.

- Visit etc.hec.gov.pk and log in.
- Complete your profile through the “My Profile” section.
- Apply for LAT under the “Law Admission Test” tab in the left menu panel.
- Pay the test fee of Rs. 1000/- via online banking/ATM or bank draft in Account No. 1742 7900 133401.
- Submit the application. (Only submitted applications with fee payment will be accepted.)
To be eligible for LAT registration, you must have completed or be awaiting results of your Intermediate degree from a recognized board.
