SITUATIONS VACANT

The Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination invites applications from Pakistani Nationals to fill the following positions under the PSDP Project "Strengthening Technical Capacities of the Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination (STC-MCC&EC)". The positions are on a contract basis for a period of two years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance or completion of the project.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

1. WASH Period Specialist (PPS-10)

Qualification & Experience:

Master's in Environmental Sciences or Climate Change from a recognized university (foreign or local) is desired.

At least 10 years of post-qualification experience in research, policy analysis, or related roles focusing on WASH sustainable development.

Experience working with government, semi-government, international organizations (UN), or NGOs is preferred.

Hands-on experience with computer applications (MS Office) is essential.

Max Age: 52 years

2. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist (PPS-10)

Qualification & Experience:

Master's in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geoinformatics Engineering, or a related field.

At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in GIS, related to government projects or with international organizations.

Experience in SDG reporting, stakeholder engagement, and consultations is preferred.

Max Age: 35 years

3. WASH Coordination Officer (PPS-03)

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's in Environmental Sciences, Water Resource Management, or Climate Change.

At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in sanitation and hygiene programs, preferably in foreign-funded projects or PSDP projects.

Strong knowledge of SDG 6 (especially targets 6.1 and 6.2) and SDG 2 (Poverty Reduction) is essential.

4. Motion Design and Animator (PPS-09)

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's in Animation, Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field.

Minimum 6 years of professional experience in motion design, animation, or visual storytelling.

Experience in public, development, or environmental sectors is preferred.

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and optional experience with Blender or Cinema 4D is required.

5. Social Media Manager (PPS-08)

Qualification & Experience:

Master's or Bachelor's (Hons) in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Public Relations, or MBA in Marketing/Communications.

At least 5 years of experience in managing social media campaigns and content strategy.

Strong writing and visual storytelling skills, with proficiency in tools like Canva, Twitter, XTools, etc.

Max Age: 35 years

6. Content Strategist (PPS-09)

Qualification & Experience:

Master's or Bachelor's in Urdu Literature, Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field.

At least 4 years of proven experience in content writing, storytelling, and copywriting for development advocacy campaigns.

Familiarity with climate narratives and inclusive communication practices is preferred.

Max Age: 35 years

7. Public Policy Analyst (PPS-09)

Qualification & Experience:

Master's in Climate Change, Environmental Engineering, Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or Law from a recognized university.

7 years of post-qualification experience in climate change, environmental protection, or public policy roles.

Experience working with government, the UN system, or international organizations in related sectors is preferred.

Max Age: 45 years

8. Admin and Finance Officer (PPS-09)

Qualification & Experience:

MBA or relevant qualification in Management from an HEC-recognized university.

At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in administration, financial management, and procurement under PSDP or donor-funded projects.

Working experience with the Ministry of Climate Change is preferred.

Max Age: 35 years

9. IT/Software Officer (PPS-05)

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor's in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Software Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.

At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in government or private sectors, with hands-on experience in MS Office applications.

Max Age: 30 years
