Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination (MoCC&EC)

Situations Vacant

PSDP Project: Strengthening Technical Capacities of Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination (STC-MoCC&EC)

The Ministry invites applications from eligible Pakistani nationals for recruitment under the PSDP project titled “Strengthening Technical Capacities of MoCC&EC (STC-MoCC&EC)”.

Appointments will be made on a contract basis, initially up to the completion of the project, extendable based on performance and project requirements.

Available Positions

1. Technical / Project Management Specialist (PPS-10)

Qualification

  • Master’s / PhD in:

    • Environmental Sciences

    • Chemistry

    • Chemical Engineering

    • Industrial Engineering

    • Or related discipline from HEC recognized university

  • Higher qualification (PhD) will be preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience

  • Experience in:

    • Managing PSDP projects

    • Government or international organizations

    • Climate change, environmental systems, conservation

    • Project management including budgeting, procurement, and reporting

    • Coordination with intergovernmental and international bodies (e.g., UNFCCC and other MEAs)

    • Capacity building and awareness programs

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Climate change policies and frameworks

    • Project cycle management procedures

  • Proficiency in MS Office and computer applications

2. Social Media Manager (PPS-08 / PPS-09)

Qualification

  • Master’s degree in:

    • Media Studies

    • Multimedia Arts

    • Public Relations

    • Journalism

    • MBA or related discipline

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years proven experience in managing institutional communication campaigns

  • Demonstrated skills in:

    • Social media management and analytics platforms

    • Content development and digital communication

    • Advocacy and community engagement (preferably related to climate issues)

  • Strong writing, visual storytelling, and communication skills

  • Good command of content management systems and digital tools

  • Proficiency in MS Office and computer applications

Age Limit

  • Maximum 35 years
