The Ministry of National Food Security and Research invites applications for the following high-level position on a contract basis:

Position Details

  • Post Title: Technical Advisor (MP-I Scale)

  • No. of Vacancies: 01

  • Age Limit: Maximum 62 years (as per MP Scale Policy, 2020, on the closing date of the advertisement)

  • Contract Duration: Initially for three (03) years; extendable annually for up to two (02) additional years based on satisfactory performance

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in Agriculture or Allied Sciences from a reputed HEC-recognized university (Pakistan or abroad)
    OR

  • Master's Degree in Agriculture or Allied Sciences from an HEC-recognized university

Experience:

  • For Ph.D. holders: At least 7 years of post-qualification professional experience in the relevant field

  • For Master’s holders: At least 9 years of post-qualification professional experience in the relevant field

Required Expertise:

  • National policy development

  • Food security strategy formulation

  • Sustainable agriculture practices

  • Public-private partnerships

  • Climate-smart agriculture innovations

  • Experience with government or international organizations is an added advantage
