Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC)

The Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) invites applications from highly qualified, dynamic, and visionary professionals for Whole Time Member positions in the fields of Natural Resources and Social Sciences. These positions require leadership in strategic planning, policy development, implementation, and management of national-level agricultural research programs.

Academic Qualification & Experience Requirements

For Both Positions:

Ph.D. in the relevant field (Natural Resources or Social Sciences) from an HEC-recognized university of international repute.

A minimum of 22 years of proven experience in R&D organizations or recognized public/private research or higher learning institutions. Must include experience in managing multi-disciplinary research teams.

Minimum 15 years of post-Ph.D. teaching or research experience in HEC-recognized institutions.

At least 15 research publications in HEC-recognized, peer-reviewed journals or books.

Other Conditions & Requirements

Tenure: Appointments will be made on a three (03) year tenure basis, as per PARC Ordinance (1981) and Rules (1984).

Candidates must demonstrate leadership in:

Strategic planning and execution of research programs

Effective management of financial and human resources

Coordination of multi-disciplinary agricultural research initiatives

Academic Record:

First division or minimum CGPA of 3.00 in the highest degree

No more than one second division or equivalent (Grade C) in the academic career

Age Limit: Maximum 62 years (as per MP Scales Policy-2020, updated from time to time)

Nationality: Pakistani citizens only

Civil Servants: If selected, must resign or seek early retirement before joining
