Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational / Professional Qualification:

    • Minimum Master's degree (MBA, Finance, or equivalent) from a recognized institute.

    • Professional qualifications like CFA, CA, or ACCA are highly preferred.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Corporate or Commercial banking.

    • At least 3 years must be in a leadership role specifically at the Loan Desk.

  • Other Skills / Knowledge Required:

    • Expert-level understanding of credit risk assessment, loan documentation, and regulatory compliance.

    • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Outline of Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the Loan Desk team, overseeing the end-to-end processing and approval of large, complex loan facilities.

  • Compliance & Review: Review and ensure all loan structures, term sheets, and documentation comply strictly with internal credit policies and external regulatory requirements.

  • Relationship Management: Manage corporate banking relationships with key clients and external legal counsel.

  • Mentorship & Efficiency: Mentor junior loan officers and continuously drive process efficiency across the desk.

  • Committee Presentations: Present major, high-value loan proposals directly to senior management committees.
