In line with its transformation strategy to become a future-fit, agile, and sustainable institution, NBP is seeking talented, dedicated, and experienced professionals for key positions in the area of International, Financial Institutions & Remittances, based at Karachi.
Reporting to: Wing Head – FI Credit Processing & MIS
Minimum Graduation or equivalent from an HEC-recognized local or international university/institute.
Candidates with a Master’s degree and/or relevant professional certifications will be preferred.
Minimum 4 years of experience in the financial sector.
At least 3 years of experience in FI Relationship Management, Credit Analysis, or a similar role.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
In-depth understanding of financial analysis techniques, credit risk assessment, and industry best practices.
Familiarity with SBP Prudential Regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
Effective team collaboration and coordination skills.
Process individual credit limits of FIs/NBFCs in line with business needs of domestic/overseas networks and treasury units.
Conduct periodic credit rating reviews and assess risk positions using obligor rating models.
Maintain and update credit files, reports, and records accurately.
Prepare peer analysis reports of local banks to assess market performance and identify key strengths and weaknesses.
Liaise with Compliance, Treasury, Risk Management, and Board Secretariat teams for credit line processing and approvals.
Support NBP’s Domestic and Overseas Networks in relation to credit processing and related financial issues.
Continuously improve credit processes in line with SBP regulations and internal compliance frameworks.
Assist the Wing Head in departmental projects and manage audit-related matters.
Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
Reporting to: Wing Head – Financial Institutions Relationship Management

Deep knowledge of financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and market dynamics.
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to build strong institutional relationships.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Capacity to present and interpret financial data effectively.
Assist the Wing Head in managing the FI Relationship Management Unit with focus on individual bank risk profiling and business opportunity identification.
Track income progress, monitor financial volumes, and use data insights to formulate growth strategies.
Enhance bank income by generating and referring client and transaction leads to/from business groups.
Coordinate with trade, branch operations, and other departments to facilitate deal execution and transactional follow-ups.
Submit progress and marketing reports to the Wing Head and Head FI regularly.
Facilitate NBP’s overseas and domestic branches to ensure seamless operations.
Address and resolve queries from correspondent banks.
Market NBP’s FI products and services to local and overseas banks.
Conduct country risk assessments annually.
Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.
Only shortlisted candidates, meeting the eligibility criteria, will be invited for test/interview.
No TA/DA will be admissible.
The employment will be on a contractual basis for three (03) years, renewable at management’s discretion.
