In line with this strategy, NBP invites talented, dedicated, and experienced professionals for the following position in the Corporate & Investment Banking Group (CIBG) based in Karachi.
Reporting to: Group Chief, CIBG
Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a university/institute recognized by HEC Pakistan
Preference for Master’s degree in:
Business Administration
Commerce
Economics
Relevant banking certifications or diplomas will be an advantage
Minimum 10 years of experience in the banking industry or financial institutions
At least 5 years in Credit Structuring, Credit Analysis, or related fields
Minimum 3 years in a leadership/supervisory role preferred
Strong analytical, structuring, and relationship management skills
Sound understanding of Corporate & Investment Banking products and services
Credit proposal analysis and review
Corporate portfolio management and risk assessment
Relationship management with regional and local corporate clients
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance
Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
Analyze and review credit proposals from all Regional Corporate Centers (Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad & Multan)
Advise Group Chief on quality of proposals and recommend improvements
Liaise with various external groups/committees to track credit proposals from initiation to disbursement
Ensure timely execution of Credit Committee decisions related to CIBG portfolio
Present case-specific or sectoral updates to Credit & Risk Committees
Plan and conduct training for CIBG officers/executives to enhance professional capabilities
Conduct manpower planning, Training Need Analysis, transfers, postings, leaves, job rotations, and travel arrangements
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on licensing, establishment, shifting, or renovation of corporate offices
Perform other assignments as delegated by supervisors
Contractual basis: 3 years, renewable at management discretion
Competitive compensation package and benefits as per bank policy
