Position: Senior IT Officer

Location: Karachi
Department: Information Technology

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Information Technology and/or Computer Science from an HEC recognized University/Institution.

Age Limit:

Maximum 28 years (as of the last date of submission of the application).

Experience:

Minimum 01 year of experience in any IT-related field.

Outline of Main Duties/Responsibilities:

Implement Modern IT Technologies:

Enhance operational efficiency, system reliability, and security within the banking environment.

Troubleshooting IT Issues:

Resolve hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring seamless IT operations across the bank.

System Administration & Security Management:

Support in system administration, security management, and IT infrastructure maintenance, with a focus on industry standards relevant to the financial sector.

Software Testing and Deployment:

Contribute to software testing and deployment activities, ensuring secure and efficient banking applications.

Collaboration and Support:

Work closely with IT and business teams to enhance workflow efficiency and provide technical support for banking systems and infrastructure.

Database Administration & Business Intelligence:

Contribute to database administration, data analytics, and regulatory reporting, strengthening business intelligence and ensuring compliance.

Project Planning and Execution:

Coordinate and support IT project planning and execution, ensuring timely completion of tasks while maintaining service continuity.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing within a structured IT governance framework.

Compliance with IT Policies:

Ensure compliance with IT policies, cybersecurity protocols, and regulatory standards relevant to the financial sector.

Adopt Emerging Trends:

Implement emerging industry trends, regulatory changes, and banking IT innovations, contributing to digital transformation.

Other Assignments:

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).

Required Knowledge/Competencies:

Oracle/SQL Server/JDBC/RDBMS Concepts

Networking/Cisco & Other Network Technologies

Cybersecurity Awareness

Project Management (Agile/Scrum)

Diagramming Tools (Flowcharts and Process Maps)

SharePoint/MS Word for Documentation

Microsoft Technologies Proficiency

Proficiency in MS Office
