HIRING OF STAFF – SCHOOL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB
The School Education Department (SED) of the Government of Punjab, with the assistance of the World Bank, is implementing the "Getting Results: Access and Delivery of Quality Education Services (GRADES)" project. This project aims to improve education outcomes by increasing participation rates from pre-primary to elementary grades and enhancing reading proficiency in primary grades across Punjab’s public schools.
To support this initiative, the School Education Department (SED) invites applications from qualified candidates with relevant experience for the following positions:
Available Positions:
1. Research Associate
Qualifications:
Master's degree or equivalent (16 years of education) in Statistical Demographics, Development Studies, Business Administration, Public Policy, Social Policy, Social Sciences, Economic Development, Economics, Public Administration, or a related field.
Degree from a local or foreign university duly recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
Experience:
At least 3 years of documentary verifiable relevant experience in public and/or private national/international organizations, preferably in the education sector.

2. Procurement Associate
Qualifications:
Master’s or Bachelor’s (Hons) degree (16 years of education) in Management Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Degree from a reputable and recognized institution duly recognized by HEC.
Experience:
At least 2 years of documentary verifiable relevant experience in public and/or private sector organizations, preferably in the education sector.
Prior experience in World Bank procurement will be preferred.

3. Data Analyst/Research
Qualifications:
Master’s degree or equivalent (16 years of education) in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, Business Administration, Education, or a relevant discipline.
Degree from a local or foreign university duly recognized by HEC.
Experience:
At least 3 years of documentary verifiable relevant experience in public and/or private national/international organizations, preferably in education.
Demonstrated ability to produce reports with quantitative analysis.
Previous experience in M&E (Monitoring & Evaluation) and knowledge of educational challenges in Punjab will be an asset.
