Position Vacant

The School Education Department Punjab, Government of the Punjab, is establishing a Strategic Management Unit (SMU) to enhance the efficiency, focus, and timely execution of departmental activities and procurements.

The purpose of the Strategic Management Unit (SMU) is to strengthen institutional capacity for strategic planning, development project execution, and management of special initiatives within the department.

Objectives of the Strategic Management Unit (SMU)

The SMU aims to:

  • Strengthen institutional capacity for strategic planning and execution.

  • Improve management of development projects and special initiatives.

  • Ensure transparent and timely implementation of development schemes through professional project management practices.

  • Institutionalize end-to-end project planning, monitoring, and reporting systems.

  • Improve utilization of development funds through effective financial management and compliance mechanisms.

  • Enhance infrastructure planning, technical oversight, and quality assurance.

  • Bridge the gap between project design and practical implementation.

  • Promote evidence-based decision-making through research, data analytics, and digital monitoring systems.

Available Position

The Strategic Management Unit invites applications from qualified and motivated individuals for the following post:

1 Audit Officer 1 PPS-9 40 Years Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field from a recognized university. At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in public sector audit procedures and financial reporting. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in development projects or departmental audits.
