Vacancy Announcement

The School Education Department (SED), Government of the Punjab, through the Programme Monitoring & Implementation Unit (PMIU-PESRP), is implementing the project titled:

“Responsive, Ready and Resilient (RRR) STEM Secondary Education in Punjab”

(With financial support from the Asian Development Bank – ADB)

This program aims to:

  • Expand access to quality secondary education
  • Strengthen STEM teaching and learning
  • Improve school infrastructure
  • Promote gender inclusion
  • Enhance climate resilience across Punjab

To ensure effective implementation, applications are invited from qualified, experienced, and dynamic professionals for the following position under the Project Implementation Unit (PIU).

Available Position

Procurement & Contracts Management Specialist

  • No. of Posts: 01

Qualification:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent (16 years of education) in:
    • Procurement
    • Engineering
    • Project Management
    • Business Administration
    • International Development
    • Or a related field

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant procurement experience
  • At least 3 years experience in:
    • ADB / World Bank funded projects
    • Donor-funded programs
  • Proven experience in:
    • Procurement of large infrastructure projects
    • IT systems
    • Consulting services
  • Strong knowledge of Punjab PPRA Rules
  • Excellent skills in:
    • Drafting
    • Negotiation
    • Communication
