2. Implementing Agency
Programme Monitoring & Implementation Unit (PMIU), School Education Department, Government of the Punjab.
3. Project Background
PMIU is implementing the "Getting Results: Access and Delivery of quality Education Services and System Transformation in Punjab (GRADES-STP)" project with support from the World Bank through a GPE-funded initiative. The project aims to strengthen foundational learning, increase enrolment, and advance system-wide reforms across Punjab.
4. Invitation
PMIU now invites experienced candidates having relevant qualifications and experience to indicate their interest in providing the following services.

| Procurement & Contract Specialist | 01 | Qualifications: • Master's Degree (at least sixteen (16) years of education) in Business Management / Engineering / Economics / Finance / Social Sciences or a relevant discipline. • Degree must be from a foreign or local university duly recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. • Preference: Candidates holding procurement-related certifications such as: - MCIPS (CIPS, UK) - CPSM (ISM, USA) - CSCP or equivalent (APICS/ASCM) |
Eight (08) years of documentary verifiable experience in procurement of goods, works, and consulting services with subnational/national/international agencies or the private sector. Preference will be given to candidates with strong experience in: • Community-driven development • Consulting services • Non-consulting services • IT Procurement |

7. Selection Method
The selection will be made in accordance with the Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultants of the World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, dated September 2023.
8. Conflict of Interest Notice
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers" dated September 2023 ("Procurement Regulations"), setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.
