Program Overview

The Punjab Cities Program (PCP) is an initiative aimed at enhancing the performance of urban local governments in urban management and service delivery. This program, financed by a loan from the IDA, is being implemented through PMDFC. Under this program, a Head Office and three Regional Offices have been established in Gujranwala, Faisalabad, and Khanewal to provide technical support to Municipal Committees.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualification:

    • 16 years of education or a higher degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Management, or related fields.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience for those with 16 years of education.
    • Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience for those with 17 years of education.
    • Experience in procurement of works, goods, and services is required.
    • A thorough understanding of PPRA (Public Procurement Regulatory Authority) rules and World Bank procurement guidelines, along with practical experience in applying these guidelines.
