Job Opportunity Announcement

Project Background

The Government of Pakistan has secured a loan (Credit No. 6243-PK) from the International Development Association (IDA) to support the Punjab Cities Program (PCP). This initiative, implemented through PMDFC, aims to enhance urban governance and service delivery in participating Local Governments across Punjab.

To facilitate program operations, PMDFC has established:

  • Head Office (Lahore)

  • Regional Offices (Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Khanewal)

Vacant Position

PMDFC invites applications for the following role under the Punjab Cities Program (PCP):

Sr. # Position Required Qualification & Experience
2. Research Analyst (Social Safeguards & Gender) (01 Post – Lahore Based)

  • Education: 16 years of education in Sociology / Gender Studies / Social Work / Anthropology / Social Sciences (HEC-recognized university).

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in research related to social development, gender studies, or project management.

  • Skills & Knowledge:

    • Understanding of local laws/policies on social development & gender issues.

    • Strong report writing, data analysis, and research capabilities.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
