As part of its Digital Banking Group expansion, BOP seeks to recruit highly motivated, results-oriented, and customer-focused individuals for the following position:

Position Title:

Officer – Field Collections
Contract Type: One Year Renewable Contract
Location: Countrywide

Job Summary & Major Responsibilities:

The Officer – Field Collections will be responsible for overseeing and executing debt collection activities in compliance with applicable banking regulations and internal policies. The role involves field visits, customer interaction, and effective negotiation to facilitate the recovery of overdue payments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Initiating contact with debtors via calls, emails, and field visits to recover outstanding dues.

  • Negotiating payment arrangements and settlement plans with delinquent customers.

  • Ensuring debt recovery targets (daily/weekly/monthly) are met.

  • Managing a portfolio of delinquent accounts and reducing non-performing loans (NPLs).

  • Addressing customer inquiries and billing disputes related to overdue payments.

  • Collaborating with legal and customer service departments for complex case resolution.

  • Preparing and maintaining comprehensive reports and communication logs of all collection activities.

  • Ensuring timely escalation of unresolved or legal-bound cases.

  • Upholding a professional and empathetic approach in customer dealings.

  • Adhering to office discipline, ethical conduct, and bank decorum.

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized university/institution.

Experience:

  • Relevant experience in banking or non-banking financial institutions.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the collection/recovery function, particularly in banking, microfinance, and consumer lending sectors.

Age Limit:

  • Up to 35 years as of July 29, 2025.

Skills Required:

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.

  • Familiarity with debt collection laws and regulatory frameworks.

  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and reports.
