Applications are invited from candidates holding a Domicile / Residence Certificate of Balochistan to fill the following vacancy against Balochistan Quota:

Terms and Conditions / General Information

  1. Eligibility (Domicile): Only candidates holding a Domicile Certificate or a valid Residence Certificate of Balochistan are eligible to apply.

  2. Legal Basis of Recruitment: Recruitment is being made under the one-time exemptions accorded by the Federal Government for recruitment against vacant posts (BS-1 to BS-16) of Balochistan Quota, conveyed vide Establishment Division's O.M. No. F.2/5/2026-BEFC/001 dated 22nd and 27th October, 2026, and in accordance with the Pakistan Tobacco Board (Service) Rules, 1985.

  3. Test: A written/screening test will be held.

  4. Selection Procedure: Selection shall be made on merit by the Selection Committee. The venue, date and time of the interview shall be communicated to eligible candidates and also posted on the PTB website.

  5. How to Apply: Interested candidates may apply:

    • Online through the National Job Portal (www.njp.gov.pk), using the dedicated tab for Balochistan Quota recruitment; or

    • On the prescribed application form, downloadable from the PTB website (www.ptb.gov.pk).

    • Deadline: Within fifteen (15) days of the publication of this advertisement.

  6. Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by five (5) years under the Establishment Division's O.M. No. 9/2/91-R-5 dated 28-11-2000. Age shall be reckoned on the closing date for receipt of applications.

  7. Government Servants: Candidates already in Government service shall apply through proper channel.

  8. Incomplete / Late Applications: Incomplete applications, or those received after the due date, shall not be entertained.

  9. Documents at Interview: Candidates must bring their original educational certificates, CNIC, and Domicile / Residence Certificate at the time of interview.

  10. Place of Posting: The selected candidate shall be posted at the Head Office, Pakistan Tobacco Board, Peshawar.

  11. TA/DA: No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in the interview.

  12. PTB's Discretion: PTB reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts, or to cancel the recruitment process, without assigning any reason.
