JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Applications are invited from suitable/eligible candidates for the following regular positions in the Transport Directorate:

General Conditions & Instructions:

  1. Eligibility:

    • Only candidates with local domicile, as per the quota mentioned, are eligible to apply.
    • Only eligible candidates will be called for an interview.

  2. Age Relaxation:

    • A general age relaxation of 05 years has already been included in the age limit.
    • An additional 03 years of age relaxation is applicable to candidates from Scheduled Castes and the Buddhist Community.
    • The upper age limit is relaxable up to 10 years for WAPDA employees who have completed 02 years of continuous regular service as of the closing date of application submission.

  3. Age Calculation:

    • The age will be calculated based on the closing date for submission of applications.

  4. Current WAPDA Employees:

    • Candidates already serving in WAPDA must apply through the WAPDA HR Division and submit the requisite NOC/Permission.

  5. Probationary Period:

    • The initial appointment will be on probation for one year, with regularization subject to satisfactory performance. Services may be terminated without notice in case of unsatisfactory performance during the probationary period.

  6. Application Submission:

    • Incomplete applications, those containing incorrect information, or those received after the closing date will be rejected.
    • Any false information found at any stage of the recruitment process will result in termination.

  7. WAPDA's Rights:

    • WAPDA reserves the right to withhold or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without providing any reason.
