Job Opportunities

WAPDA invites applications from suitable and eligible candidates for the following posts in the HR Division (Establishment) on a regular basis.

General Conditions & Instructions

  1. Only candidates holding local domicile as per the mentioned quota (District Lahore) are eligible to apply.

  2. Only eligible/shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

  3. The general age relaxation of 05 years has already been included in the prescribed age limit.

  4. Additional age relaxation of 03 years is admissible to candidates belonging to:

    • Minorities

    • Recognized Tribes of Tribal Areas

    • Gilgit Baltistan

    • Azad Kashmir

    • Sindh (Rural)

    • Balochistan
      (Age relaxation will be admissible in one category only.)

  5. Upper age limit is relaxable up to 10 years for Government/WAPDA employees who have completed 02 years of continuous regular service as of the closing date.

  6. WAPDA employees working on daily wages/contingent paid basis are eligible for special age relaxation equal to their years of service in WAPDA.
    (Example: 30 years age limit + 5 years service = 35 years eligibility).

  7. Candidates already serving in WAPDA must apply for NOC through WAPDA HR Division before the closing date.

  8. Age will be calculated as of the closing date of submission of applications.

  9. Original documents must be presented at the time of interview.

  10. Initial appointment will be made on probation for 01 year. Regularization will be subject to satisfactory performance. Services may be terminated without notice in case of unsatisfactory performance during probation.

  11. Applications containing incomplete or incorrect information, or received after the due date, will be rejected.

  12. If any information provided by the candidate is found bogus at any stage, it will result in termination of service.

  13. WAPDA reserves the right to withhold or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.

  14. The number of posts may be increased or decreased as per departmental requirements.
