Advertisement for Recruitment (Locum Basis)

WAPDA Teaching Hospital Complex, Lahore

The WAPDA Teaching Hospital Complex, Lahore, along with its allied dispensaries in Sheikhupura, Okara, Shalimar, and Kasur, provides healthcare services to employees of DISCOs, WAPDA, and GENCOs.

Applications are invited from qualified and experienced medical professionals for recruitment on a locum (temporary) basis as a stop-gap arrangement to ensure continuity of patient care.

  • Initial Contract Duration: 06 months
  • Extension: Based on satisfactory performance (until regular recruitment)

Available Positions

1. General Surgeon

  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Age Limit: Up to 45 years

Qualification & Requirements:

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council
  • Postgraduate qualification in relevant specialty such as:
    • FCPS / MS / FRCS / MRCP / MD
    • Diplomate of American Board (if applicable)
  • Must be recognized by PMDC

2. Eye Specialist (Ophthalmologist)

  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Age Limit: Up to 45 years

Qualification & Requirements:

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC
  • Relevant postgraduate specialization in Ophthalmology
  • Recognized by PMDC

  7. Salary package will be determined based on experience and WAPDA policy
