Collection & Recovery Division (Digital Banking Group)

The Bank of Punjab, a leading financial institution with a 35-year legacy and a network of over 900 branches, is seeking a high-performing professional for a strategic leadership role in Lahore.

Position: Head of Collections & Recovery (Digital Banking Group)

  • Grade: Band-4 to Band-2

  • Location: Lahore

  • Reporting Division: Digital Banking Group

Job Summary & Major Responsibilities The successful candidate will lead the division’s financial and operational recovery strategies, focusing on the sustainability of the Bank's credit book.

  • Financial Management: Oversee the divisional budget, including litigation expenses, recovery costs, and third-party commissions.

  • Strategic Recovery: Manage tools such as auctions of seized assets, out-of-court settlements, and litigation.

  • Portfolio Analysis: Segment the portfolio into "Big Ticket" and "Mass Market" categories to apply specialized recovery resources.

  • Performance Monitoring: Set and review KPIs for Unit Heads based on roll-back rates and recovery targets.

  • Predictive Analytics: Utilize Delinquency MIS and predictive analytics to identify "Inflow" trends and potential defaults before they occur.

  • Fraud Oversight: Coordinate with Fraud Risk (FRMU) to escalate "First-Payment Defaults" and identify "Bust-out" fraud patterns.

  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as the primary contact for Credit Initiation, Card Operations, and Legal departments.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.

  • Experience: 9 to 12 years of relevant banking experience specifically in Collection & Recovery.

  • Age Limit: Maximum 55 years (as of the application date).
