Position: General Banking Officer (OG III)

Eligibility Criteria

Education/Qualification:

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from an HEC-recognized local or international university/college/institute

Age Limit:

  • Maximum 27 years

Experience:

  • Candidates with 1 year of relevant banking experience are preferred

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply


Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage all front-office and back-office banking operations

  • Handle remittance-related activities

  • Monitor inoperative and dormant accounts and serve notices to unclaimed account holders when required

  • Process online transactions, remittances, and issuance of financial instruments

  • Open and maintain customer accounts

  • Handle collection of inward and outward clearing in line with SOPs and Prudential Regulations

  • Manage ATM claim settlements and maintain lockers

  • Handle cash management activities when assigned

  • Process and manage term deposits (issuance, payments, TDR balancing)

  • Ensure operational and front-office activities are performed appropriately

  • Assist Operations Manager in promoting/selling bank products and services, including Travelers Cheques, Savings Bonds, Money Orders, and Cashier Cheques

  • Scrutinize transaction vouchers daily and maintain proper filing for audit purposes

  • Issue receipts for customer payments

  • Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, calculating, posting account-related entries, and reconciling with the general ledger

  • Generate month-end reports

  • Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors


Required Knowledge & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong processing skills with focus on volume, speed, and accuracy

  • Ability to work as an effective team player

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
