FCPS Part-II Training Opportunities at WAPDA Teaching Hospital, Lahore

WAPDA Teaching Hospital, Lahore, is affiliated with the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) for the postgraduate training of FCPS Part-II. Applications are invited from eligible candidates (as per CPSP rules) for FCPS Part-II training in the following departments for the session of December 2024:

Departments & Vacancies:

  1. Medicine – 02 positions
  2. Pediatrics – 01 position
  3. Ophthalmology – 01 position
  4. Gynaecology – 01 position

Application Requirements:

Interested candidates must submit the following documents along with an updated CV:

  1. Certificates of Matriculation and F.Sc.
  2. MBBS Degree along with Detailed Marks Sheets of all professional examinations.
  3. Attempt certificates for all professional examinations.
  4. House Job Certificate.
  5. Valid PMDC/PMC Registration Certificate.
  6. Certificate of passing FCPS Part-I in the relevant field.
  7. Experience certificate (if any).
  8. Work and conduct report(s) from the employer (if any).
  9. Computerized National Identity Card.
  10. Two latest passport-sized photographs.

General Conditions:

  • Last date for submission of applications: 26.12.2024.

  • Applications should be addressed to:
    MS WAPDA Teaching Hospital
    210-Ferozepur Road, Lahore.

  • Interviews:
    Interviews will begin on 27.12.2024 at WAPDA Teaching Hospital, Lahore.
    Candidates must present their original documents at the time of the interview.

  • Age Limit:
    Maximum age of 45 years on the last date for submission of documents.

  • Selection Process:
    Selection will be made purely on merit.
    No TA/DA will be paid for the selection or induction interviews.

  • Government Employees:
    Applicants currently employed in government, semi-government, or autonomous departments must provide an NOC from their department for enrollment at WAPDA Teaching Hospital, Lahore.

  • Stipend:
    Selected candidates will be paid a stipend as per rules.

  • Training Rules:
    Selected trainees will be governed by WAPDA rules. Leave will be permitted as per CPSP rules.
    Selected candidates will not be allowed to work or draw salary/stipend from any other hospital during the training period.

  • Right to Modify/Cancel:
    WAPDA reserves the right to cancel or modify the induction process at any stage without assigning any reason.
