Position Overview – Chief Investment Officer

The CIO will be responsible for overseeing NICL’s investment portfolio, guiding the investment team, and developing strategies aligned with the company’s long-term goals. This executive role demands expertise in investment management, asset allocation, risk assessment, and capital markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive investment strategy aligned with NICL’s financial goals and risk appetite.

• Oversee all investment activities, including portfolio construction, performance monitoring, and asset allocation.

• Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of investment professionals.

• Monitor economic, market, and industry trends to inform investment decisions.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal governance policies.

• Collaborate with executive leadership to shape overall corporate financial strategy.

• Present investment reports and strategic updates to the Board of Directors.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA or Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in investment management, asset allocation, or related finance roles.

• Proven track record managing large-scale investment portfolios with measurable performance results.

• Deep understanding of capital markets, alternative investments, risk management, and financial modeling.

• Leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

• CFA, actuarial qualification, or other relevant certifications are considered a plus.

• Preference for candidates with experience in renowned international investment/financial institutions.
